Michael Furrer has a long professional career in information technology. Following his apprenticeship in IT and various further training courses in software development, he obtained a Bachelor's degree in Enterprise Computing and completed several CASs in the areas of requirements engineering and process management.
His many years of experience span the software and real estate industries. As Head of Software Development Rimo R5 at W&W Immo Informatik AG, he gained extensive experience in product development for the real estate industry. He used this experience to build up the new Cloud & Mobile division. He subsequently acquired a great deal of experience in the areas of app and cloud development.
He then gained further management experience as Head of Software Development and Integration at Wincasa, the largest real estate management company in Switzerland. Among other things, he was part of the project management team for the replacement of the REM-based WincasaQ and the introduction of Garaio REM.
Michael Furrer is Fairwalter's Chief Product Officer and is responsible for product development. His extensive expertise enables him to successfully develop the company and the product. Continuous development, management experience in various positions and his drive to digitize the real estate industry are what set Michael Furrer apart.
